Mechpro

AI CADFrom a short brief to a full assembly

Describe it. We model it.

Send a short brief with photos or sketches and the sizes you know. Mechpro returns every part as a solid model, fitted into the assembly, with drawings, a parts list and an engineering report.

Example brief

Single-stage spur gearbox, 3:1 reduction, module 2, 22-tooth pinion, Ø17 input and Ø25 output shafts, cast aluminium housing with a bolted cover.

SOLIDWORKS, Inventor, Fusion, CATIA, NX and Creo open the STEP file as solid bodies, and AutoCAD opens the DXF. Only those programs can write their own file types, so we send STEP and DXF instead.

Examples

From one part to a complete gearbox.

Three briefs and what each one became. Every picture is rendered from the solid model generated from its brief.

01 · Part

Spur gear

48 teeth, module 3, a keyed Ø40 bore and lightening holes. One sentence in, one finished part out.

Brief

02 · Assembly

Drive shaft

Shaft, gear, spacer, washer, coupling flange and four bolts, each part sized to fit the next.

03 · Machine

Gearbox

Housing, cover, shafts, gear pair, bearings, end caps, keys and every fastener, from the same brief as the demo above.

Brief

How it works

You write the brief. The model does the engineering.

No CAD skills needed. Say what the part has to do, add pictures and the sizes that matter, and name any file format you need.

  1. Step 1

    Write the brief

Create an account and describe the part in a few sentences. Attach photos or sketches and the dimensions that must be kept.

  2. Step 2

    The model builds it

When your brief needs it, our engine first looks up references and runs sizing calculations. Then every part is designed, sized and fitted into the assembly. Bearings, keys and fasteners are picked from the standards.

  3. Step 3

    Download the package

3D model, drawings, parts list and report, in the formats you asked for. Ask for changes in plain words.

What Mechpro can do

The whole engineering report, worked out from one brief.

Every tile below comes from the example gearbox above. The numbers are taken from its solid model, its drawings and its report.

Complete assemblies, not single parts

Assembly

Made parts and purchased parts are placed, mated and counted, with an exploded view and balloons for every item.
